Fred Segal, Seat 5

Fred Segal serves as 2025 Chair of the Broward Soil & Water Conservation District. Mr. Segal has served as President of the Broward County Farm Bureau since 1993, and has served the community as President of the Pompano Beach Kiwanis Club since 2010.

Bonny Hajducko, Seat 1

Bonny Hajducko serves as 2025 Vice Chair of the Broward Soil & Water Conservation District. Ms. Hajducko leads various garden and environmental efforts within her community, including starting Broward County's first 4-H Junior Master Gardener Program and installing the Ft. Lauderdale Museum of Discover & Science garden project as well as the Old Davie School and Museum garden. She completed training as a Florida Master Gardener in 2012 at the Davie Extension office, and completed training as a Wildlife Gardener as well as training to lead Junior Master Gardener programs at Texas A&M University. Ms. Hajducko is a Federation Secretary and Membership Director with the Broward County Farm Bureau.

Jessie Bastos, Seat 4

Jessie Bastos serves as 2025 Secretary for the Broward Soil & Water Conservation District. Ms. Bastos serves as Chair of the Town of Davie's Agricultural & Environmental Advisory Committee, where she has led many community initiatives including the creation of a series of free edible gardening workshops, now in their 4th season as of Fall 2025. She and her family operate a nursery that donates plants for workshops and outreach events which in total has provided over 550 starter plants to local residents. Ms. Bastos serves on the board of the UF/IFAS Urban Horticulture Advisory Committee and volunteers regularly within Broward County Schools.
